Fires
Fires are notpermitted at Stromlo Forect Park. Gas BBQs may be used (but not hot-coal BBQs). An adult is to be present at lit fires/BBQs at all times.No Smoking
There is a no-smoking rule in force at Stromlo Forest Park.Pets
Dogs and other pets (other than seeing-eye dogs) are not allowed anywhere at the event for safety and hygiene reasons. This rule also applies to pets on leashes.Amenities
Potable water is available on site. It is available at various locations around Stromlo Forest Park. Showers and toilets are available on the lower level of the Pavillion at Stromlo Forest Park. Please restrict your showers to a few minutes, to conserve water and limit the impact on the waste water system at Stromlo Forest Park.First Aid
First aid will be located in the transition area, and will be provided by Pink First Aid Services. The nearest Hospital is The Canberra Hospital, located on Yamba Drive Garran. From Stromlo Forest Park, turn right onto Uriarra Drive, then left onto Cotter Road, follow this and turn right onto the Tuggeranong Park Way. From the Parkway take the next exit to the left onto Hindmarsh Drive, then turn right after about 2.7km into Yamba Drive, the hospital will be on your right hand side, follow the signs to the Emergency Department.
Merchandise
A limited amount of CORC Merchandise will be available for purchase at Race Headquarters on the lower level of the Pavillion.Catering
There will be a wide selection of food available at the race food stall, as well as coffee. The food stall will be located on the lower level of the Pavillion.Hot food available from 7:30am Saturday morning, 7am Sunday morning
Camping
Camping will only be available at Stromlo Forest Park on Friday Saturday and Sunday Nights, you will not be able to camp at Stromlo Forest Park on Thursday Night. Stromlo Forest Park is a large venue and all riders will have a pit frontage onto the race course around the Bitumen Crit Track. Alternate camping locations close to Stromlo Forest Park can be found here.
Campingwill attract a fee of $10/head per night for Friday night. Please be honest and pay at registration, camping for Saturday and Sunday nights are included for 2 people in your race entry fee, any additional people will incur the $10/head per night fee person.. This area is unable to be reserved, however the is a vast amount of space available at Stromlo Forest Park. Please follow the directions of the CORC Event Team and Stromlo Forest Park Management in setting up your camp site.
